Ready for the Beach

Mother Nature has eliminated the need for "spring." This year we appear to have gone from winter straight into summer. And with this early-but-welcome summer weather comes inspiration for fun and warm nail designs! Elleandish did a nautical boat design a couple of weeks ago, and here I have done a variation of her design (okay the one nail is straight from her video).

I've never gone sailing before (I do love kayaking but I'm still working on that design) but this nice weather makes me think of the beach. And with thoughts of the beach come thoughts of nautical nails.

Beautiful blues, a li'l gold, and a li'l white are the perfect combination for classy boat nails. I used striping tape on my thumb and middle finger, my anchor was drawn with a paint brush and the sailboat and seagulls were done with my striper polish.

O.P.I. "The Sky's My Limit," Maybelline "Bold Gold," China Glaze "Shower Together," Seche "Porcelain II," and my White Sally Hansen striper.

Here are my nails in the beautiful sunlight that inspired the need for them!

I'm ready for this weather to be permanent so I can show off my mani at the beach.
